MONTCLAIR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WEEKLY NEWSLETTER – SEPTEMBER 30, 2015

WE ARE A NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL!

We in the PTA are thrilled that Montclair Elementary School has been named a National Blue Ribbon School recipient for 2015! This award ranks Montclair in the top 15% of all schools – public, private and charter – in the United States. Along with our wonderful principal, teachers and students, the committee highlighted Montclair’s PTA-sponsored programs, including drama, art, music, and gardening, and the school’s “high parent involvement,” as reasons for its excellence. Thank you, parents, for your continued participation in our programs and support of our students. Cheers to a great community! More on the award at http://tinyurl.com/qc3g7ds.

EARLY DISMISSAL NEXT WEEK

Students will have early dismissal every day next week, Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, due to parent-teacher conferences. All students will be dismissed at 1:30 pm. Please consult your student’s teacher for your class conference schedule.
