BIKE RODEO AT MES
Spring is in the air. Time to dig out that old bicycle of yours out of the garage, dust it off, and get pedaling! What’s that, you say? No motivation? Or, maybe your bike needs a few repairs? Perhaps you need an old-fashioned bike rodeo to rekindle the interest and to get your bicycle tuned up. MES kids and families are invited to bring their bikes to school on Sunday, April 24, 11am-2pm, for our first-ever Bike Rodeo! We have lots of fun activities planned for everyone including bike decorating, how-to stations, demonstrations, hands-on skills training from the folks at Safe Routes to School, and more. Let the folks from the Alameda County BikeMobile fix it up. And get this: it’s all free! Check out the event flyers that are all now posted on campus. Be sure to add this event to your calendar. It’s gonna be so much fun!
TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

If you are available and can help us prepare for the luncheon, visit this link – http://tiny.cc/TeacherLunch2016 – to sign up and drop-off beverages, tasty food items or treats for the event or consider volunteering to help out with set-up, service, and clean-up.
