MONTCLAIR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WEEKLY NEWSLETTER – JANUARY 14, 2015 VOL. 19
OTTER BALL VOLUNTEER/PLANNING MEETING – TONIGHT!
Now that Winter Break is in the rear-view mirror, it’s time to look forward to our biggest fundraiser of the spring season: the fabulous Otter Ball on March 28! But we can’t do it without you. We still need volunteers who are willing to pitch in on the planning, to help gather donations, and to assist on the day and evening of the event. Ready to help? We’re inviting all MES room reps and anyone else interested to join us TONIGHT, Wednesday, January 14, 7pm at Monaghan’s (www.monaghans-onthehill.com) at 2820 Mountain Blvd. Please email Keisha Nzewi at for more information about volunteer opportunities.
Did you know bag lunches are available for class field trips? Whether free, reduced price or full priced, all students can have lunches provided when having lunch off campus. A typical bag lunch will include a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and vegetable (probably carrots). Let your child’s teacher know if you’re interested in this option. Teachers need to give at least two weeks’ notice before the scheduled field trip. Click here for January’s cooking kitchen lunch menu. Please note it has not yet been updated to reflect the January 30th school day.
PTA AND SCHOOL POSITIONS OPEN
