MES SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL (SSC) NEEDS YOU!

The School Site Council (SSC) is seeking three Parent Volunteers for 2-year terms. The SSC is a unique volunteer opportunity for parents who want a voice in maintaining and improving school achievement. If you want to learn how our school works—from curriculum and site planning, to academic performance and resource allocation—this is the gig for you. As required by the California Education Code, our school site council is comprised of the principal, faculty, staff, and parents. Our SSC meets monthly to discuss issues and concerns affecting our school and is open to the entire MES community.

SSC Ballots were available for pick up at Open House last week.  However, it came to our attention that not all classes received them in time for distribution.  Please look out for new SSC Ballots in your child’s Wednesday folder. Please return ballots to the office by Friday, June 3.
