Montclair families, we need your help the night of the event. The shifts are short and you’ll still have plenty of time to mingle and play! Go to the online SIGNUP GENIUS to sign up for a volunteer position. Please consider it!
FUNDRAISER FOR MES
Raise a glass at Farmstead and raise money for Montclair Elementary!
Hosted by Farmstead’s knowledgeable staff, these fun, educational wine tasting events will benefit MES throughout the month of March. Bring friends, spread the word and raise a glass to our kids, in a friendly and convivial setting, The tastings cost just $1 per person (more gratefully accepted!), with ALL proceeds going to MES! Visit either location during tasting events each week THIS MONTH to support our school! See attached flyer for more information.
Montclair Village events (6218 La Salle Ave.): Fridays 5-7pm, Saturdays 2-5pm
Alameda events (1650 Park St.): Thursdays 5-7:30pm, Saturdays 2-5pm
DAD’S CLUB MOVIE NIGHT
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
Friday, March 7th, 6-9pm
Drop your kids off so they can have a night out with their friends. They’ll get pizza, popcorn, and see a movie, some other shorts, and have an extra special, extra awesome DANCE PARTY! Bring blankets and pillows so they can hang out and relax. This month’s beneficiary is Principal Bloom’s Otter Account. Potty trained siblings welcome. Please RSVP HERE. Raising Resilient Girls from the Girls Leadership Institute

This year’s Family Science Night will take place on Thursday, March 27th. Stay tuned for more details.
SCIENCE FAIR UPDATE
Please note the date correction: the MES Science Fair will take place on Thursday April 10th from 5-7pm.

We are looking for volunteers for two upcoming events: The Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, May 7th and Founders Day on Wednesday, May 14th from 11:30am-1pm. Please save the dates, and if you are able to volunteer contact .
JOIN THE MONTCLAIR VARIETY SHOW
This year’s show will be on Saturday, May 10th at 6:30pm in our beautiful new multipurpose room. Signups are in the office–look for the binder with the Variety Show flyer on the front. The show is limited to the first 25 acts so be sure to sign up soon!

Parents, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations for parenting books. We can publish recommendations and short descriptions to share with other parents. You can drop a note in my mailbox in the office. We can purchase selected ones for the parenting library in the school library or you can donate ones you would like to share.
